Carlos Gonzalez

Carlos is one of two ministers for the Inland Valley Bilingual Church of Christ in Ontario, California.  He is also the bilingual worship minister there and leads the congregation in singing as he jumps back and forth between English and Spanish and encourages the members to sing in their native language, which is displayed side by side on the screen.  The congregation sings in both languages simultaneously.  

Carlos is involved in the Voces (Voices) bilingual music ministry in which the quartet uses acappella music to reach out to the lost and encourages other congregations.  Carlos and his wife, Sharon, travel and help Spanish speaking congregations in learning new songs and learning four part harmony.

Goyo Nieto 

Goyo Nieto became an evangelist in September 1997 and worked for the San Cristobal congregation in western Venezuela. He met his wife, Sarah, while she was visiting the church on a mission trip. Goyo received a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible and Ministry at Harding University. Goyo, Sarah, and Gigi went to Winston-Salem in July of 2003 to work in the preaching ministry with the Brewer Road Church of Christ and now share that duty with fellow minister Gustavo Prato.

Michelle J. Goff 

Michelle Goff transitioned out of full-time local ministry with women in contexts such as missions, church-planting, and campus ministry to launch Iron Rose Sister Ministries, IRSM, based out of Denver, Colorado, in order to reach women on a more global level.

Michelle is passionate about equipping, empowering, and inspiring women in their walk with God. She has been writing small group Bible study materials in English and Spanish throughout her career in full-time ministry. God has led Michelle to share these resources with more women across the Americas through IRSM. 

Paul Gonzalez 

Paul Gonzales is from El Paso, TX.  He has been preaching the gospel for the last 35 years with his wife, Gloria, who is always by his side.  He is currently involved with Northside Bilingual Church of Christ in El Paso, TX where he is the full time Minister for the bilingual congregation.  Paul and Gloria have been the directors for the English Bible School for the last 16 years in which they offer free classes to the community in exchange for bible classes.  Classes include basic English to advanced English, citizenship classes and computer.  Many have been won to the Lord through this much needed ministry.  They have helped other congregations to use this model in other churches as a way to reach out to the community.

Sam Hall

Sam Hall's extensive corporate career has spanned various industries, organizations and institutions for more than 25 years. 

His areas of expertise include human resources, diversity, management, training and consulting. Sam's success within his career has afforded him the opportunity to provide customized consultative services to international non-profit organizations, major academic institutions and Fortune 100 companies such as General Motors, Delphi Automotive, Chrysler, Ford Motor Company, Procter & Gamble, Kmart, General Dynamics and Dow Chemical to name a few. 

Sam has been a member of the body of Christ for over 23 years. He is a seasoned Bible schoolteacher, who currently teaches an interactive and exciting adult class at Northside Church of Christ in Jacksonville, Florida. He has also led the single adult ministry and marriage ministry for a number of years. God is at the center of his life and he is the spiritual leader of his home. He has been married to his wife Roxy for 22 years and they have a teenage daughter Lauren (17) and a teenage son, Patrick (15). 

Ron Roberson 

Ron Roberson was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in full-time ministry since 1979 and has been on staff at Germantown since 2002. He came to Germantown as an Involvement Minister and, although he still does some work in that area, his focus now is on Senior Adult Ministry.

Ron is married to Sherry and they have a daughter, son-in-law, two granddaughters, and a grandson who are on the mission field in Mozambique, Africa. Ron earned a Bachelor's Degree from Freed-Hardeman University and a Master's Degree from the Harding University Graduate School of Religion, now Harding School of Theology.


Kerry has 12 years of experience in campus ministry. He began his work for the Greater Alton Church of Christ at age 18. Kerry successfully started a campus ministry to Lindenwood University in St. Charles. Kerry's experience and philosophy are something unique in Churches of Christ. Kerry also serves on the board of directors of Campus Ministry United.

Brad Harrub 

Brad Harrub holds an earned B.S. degree in biology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, and an earned doctorate degree in anatomy and neurobiology from the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He was listed in Who’s Who Among Scientists and Researchers. He is the author of Convicted: A Scientist Examines the Evidence for Christianity, Heart of the Matter, Dissecting the Truth, and the coauthor of the books, The Truth About Human Origins, Investigating Christian Evidences, Matters of Life and Death, Diamonds in the Rough: Nuggets of Truth from God’s Word and has written many tracts and articles for brotherhood journals. 

He conducts over 40 “Truth About Origins” weekend seminars each year. In addition, he was an invited speaker to the International conference on Creationism, and he has appeared on the television show “Origins.”

Dr. Harrub has done mission work in Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand, Ireland, Jamaica, Scotland, England, Germany, and Nicaragua. Currently, Dr. Harrub serves as the Executive Director and cofounder of Focus Press and as co-editor of Think magazinea monthly magazine on Christian evidences. In addition, he is a co-host on the television show “Think About It.” Dr. Harrub also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver. He and his wife Melinda attend the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Franklin, TN. They have four children: Will (12), Reese (10), Claire (7), and Luke (4).

Angela Tooley 

Angela Tooley is a grateful believer in Jesus Christ who struggles with anger, pride, and resentment. She passionately wishes to share God’s message of hope and recovery especially with women. Angela is the Women’s Director and Founder of Noble Choices and the Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader at Richardson East Church of Christ.

Angela works with women one-on-one as a life coach for Noble Choices and as a Celebrate Recovery sponsor. She handles the administration and management work of Noble Choices. She plans and directs the weekly Celebrate Recovery programs. Soon she will be writing newsletters for both Noble Choices and Celebrate Recovery. She even hosts and leads a life group for her church.

Tim Archer 

Tim Archer is a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Besides writing, he coordinates the Spanish-speaking ministries of Herald of Truth ministries. He also preaches for the bilingual group at the University Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas. Prior to coming to Abilene, Tim preached for the Bilingual Church of Christ in Stockdale, Texas; before that, he spent 15 years as a missionary in Argentina.

Besides maintaining this blog, Tim writes regularly for Heartlight magazine. He has also authored articles, tracts and study books in English and Spanish.

Tim and his wife Carolina live with their two children, Daniel and Andrea, in Abilene, Texas, tending to every whim of their two dogs and cat.

Slate Moore

Slate grew up in Hamilton, Alabama, and always knew God was with him, and had plans for him. Slate met his wife, Julie Fears, at Maywood Christian Camp and share the goals and lifelong dream of seeking and saving as many people as God will allow, until He calls us home. Slate and Jilie married June 1, 1995, and are the proud parents of five beautiful children. Gabriel, who is already waiting for them in heaven, Lena, 14, Leisel, 12, Charleston, 9, and Shepherd, 4.

Alvin L. Daniels Jr. 

Alvin L Daniels is a native of the state of Florida. He grew up in and began his professional career in the community of Delray Beach. His spiritual journey began under the teaching of the late Brother James S. Fredrick, and he was baptized into the Church in April of 1987 under the leadership of Dr. I.C. Spivey of the 15th Avenue Church of Christ, Delray Beach, FL. Alvin L. Daniels Jr. is married to the former Cynthia R. Kinnel of Delray Beach, FL. They have three wonderful and compassionate children who love serving the Lord.

He is currently the Senior Minister to the Hope Church of Christ in Miami Gardens, FL.

Brother Daniels began his spiritual service by attending International Bible College in Florence, Alabama. His studies emphasized doctrine and evangelism. While attending IBC, he ministered to and worked with several churches in the Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee areas. Brother Daniels has worked extensively in the arena of at-risk and delinquent youth. He has been very involved in counseling and mentoring children in serious habitual offender programs (SHO) and he has held several supervisory positions, including Director of Children’s Services in South Georgia. He holds a BA Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Valdosta State University.

His Ministerial experiences include serving as youth minister to the Lake Ida Church of Christ of Delray Beach, FL.; Associate Minister to the Deerfield Church of Christ, Deerfield Beach, FL.; Minister to the Boca Delray Congregation, Delray Beach, FL.; Minister of the Courtland Avenue Church of Christ, Quitman, GA.; and Minister to the Pembroke Park Church of Christ in Hollywood, FL. Bro. Daniels has conducted and participated in a series of workshops, conferences, and lectureships. 

Julie Young

Julie Harrison Young is passionate about prayer and praying with other women.  She and her husband, David have been in ministry together for 32 years and have two wonderful children, Rachel and Jonathan. Julie has a MSSW in social work and is Director of Operations for Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro, TN. She is also on the board on directors for Neema House in Geita, Tanzania.  She loves her discipleship group in Murfreesboro and is excited to share with you about that group.

Andy Miller 

ANdy and his wife Roslyn have been serving the church in Starkville since 2006. They have two grown children, Bethany and Jonathan. Andy grew up as an atheist/agnostic and became a Christian when he was a junior in college majoring in marine biology. He has a MS in ministry and has worked in ministry since 1984. Andy's passion is bringing the lost to Christ, and he has conducted Spread the Word Evangelism Workshops in 10 states and in Ghana, Africa and Haiti. He has reached out to the lost from the Deep South to the West Coast (Alabama to California and Florida to Pennsylvania) and has participated in foreign mission efforts in England, Malaysia, Singapore, Bulgaria, Haiti, and Ghana.

Andy enjoys cross-training and riding motorcycles. As a couple, Andy and Roslyn enjoy traveling, food ("diners, drive-ins, and dives" are the kinds of places they like to eat), and discovering out-of-the-way places.


Duncan Campbell

Duncan Campbell serves as the Student Life Minister at the New Braunfels Church of Christ in New Braunfels, Texas, where he has served since 2013. He has worked with teenagers for over 20 years and holds a BBA (Stephen F. Austin, 1998), BTh (Harding, 2002), and a MA in Bible (Harding School of Theology, 2006). He has a passion teaching Bible, the arts, design, and technology, and using these to inspire teenagers toward Jesus. He and his wife Sherah have three children, Declan, Søren, and Annika (rhymes with “Hanukkah”). Dr. Joe Roberts 

Joe is presently the preaching minister for the Collegeside Church of Christ in Cookeville Tennessee having served in ministry since 1979 and is also the Interim Director for Professional Studies at Tennessee Tech University.  He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University and has three graduate degrees along with a doctorate from Florida Atlantic University in leadership.  He has served as the Director of the Spiritual Growth Workshop in Orlando, Florida, Co-Director of Blue Ridge Family Encampment and on various boards such as the American Red Cross and Advisory Board of Freed-Hardeman University.

He and his wife Judy have been married since June of 1981 and have two grown children, Chad and Amy.  Judy works in human resources for Tennessee Tech University.  Chad and Amy are graduates of Lipscomb University. Chad is finishing up Physical Therapy School in Florida. Amy is married to Reid Hillin and they make their home in Nashville.

Keith Lancaster

The Acappella Company began as a dream in the mind of young Keith Lancaster. Unusually gifted by God with exceptional musical range in his voice, and a unique ability to compose memorable songs, Keith recorded his first album, singing all the parts a cappella, at an early age. Now, as the founder of The Acappella Company, Keith heads up producing the most unique and diverse a cappella projects ever recorded, using the finest all-vocals techniques, technology, and voices available.

While still heavily involved with leadership in The Acappella Company, Keith travels the world spreading the Gospel through music and presenting his Praise & Harmony Workshops at congregations large and small. He also works as a Worship Minister at the Park Plaza Church of Christ in Tulsa, OK.

Keith is married to Sharon, a lovely woman of God. Their children (Melissa, Kimberly, Anthony, and Allison) have all been home educated. Melissa sings with Durant and is actively involved in the mixing and editing of Acappella Company releases. Kimberly is working in graphic design and also sings in Durant. Anthony is currently a member of Acappella. It's all in the family...

Jim Holway

Jim & Kathryn Holway worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 12 years, starting and maturing various congregations.  Since their return to the US in 1995, they have worked among various Latinos communities.  They began Spanish-speaking congregation in Memphis, TN, and have partnered with numerous Hispanic works throughout the US, Central and South America.  Jim currently serves as the Field Coordinator for LAMP (Latin American Missions Projects) based in Miami, FL.

Jim also serves as the lead minister for the Sunset Church of Christ in Miami, their sponsoring congregation.  Jim has a Master’s degree from Harding School of Theology, and is an adjunct professional for the Texas International Bible institute.

Jimmy Adcox

Jimmy Adcox has been the Preaching Minister for the Southwest Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas for 36 years.  Jimmy has a passion for impacting the local community and for church planting through Southwest’s sponsorship of Kairos Church Planting.  He received his Doctor of Ministry from Abilene Christian University and is a Mentoring Partner with Hope Network (a ministry to equip churches and church leaders.)

Jimmy is marries to Ann.  They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

Randy Harris

Randy Harris teaches at ACU, after 10 years of teaching at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.  At Lipscomb, Randy was a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award in 1990.  He holds degrees from Harding University, Harding Graduate School of Religion and Syracuse University.  His areas of expertise are Modern Theology and Ethics.  He was the preaching minister for 10 years at the Donelson Church of Christ in Nashville, TN. and for 2 years at 11th and Willis in Abilene.  Randy is co-author of The Second Incarnation, co-editor and contributor to Theology Matters, contributed a chapter to In Search of Wonder and has written articles for Wineskins magazine. He is single Christian who grew up in Bentonville, AR., and plays father to two pug puppies.

Wesley Leonard

Wesley T Leonard, born in Tallahassee, FL, has been preaching the gospel for 20+ years.  He currently serves as Minister of the Southside Church of Christ in Orlando, FL., and has been there since December 1999.  Throughout this period, the congregation has experienced tremendous growth.  Previously, he served as Minister at the Springhill Road Church of Christ in Tallahassee, Florida.

Among his many accomplishments, Leonard is an Official State of Florida Pre/Post Marriage Counselor and a Trained Bereavement Counselor.  He has facilitated numerous Marriage Enrichment seminars throughout the brotherhood; and has conducted meetings in Africa, the Caribbean, and several regions across the US.  He authored the publication entitled, “Soul Winning”, a compilation of practical lessons on the methodology Christians can employ to effectively teach those who are lost.  He is currently working on publishing a “Book of Sermons”, and a handbook edition of“Biblical Answers to Everyday Questions.”

He has been married to the former Pamela Hadley since August 30, 1980.  They have been blessed with two children, Jonathan Wesley and Briana LeeAnn.  

Phil Barnes

Phil Barnes was raised in Nashville, TN.  Today he serves as the Minister of the Orange Ave. Church of Christ in Eustis Fl.  Phil has been preaching for more than 25 years, recently preaching at the Madison Church of Christ in Nashville, TN.

After graduation from Madison High School, Phil served for ten years in the Armed Forces.  After his Military service he graduated from Harding University’s School of Biblical Studies. He received B.A. from Heritage Christian University and his Master’s Degree from Lipscomb University.  

Phil is married to Kim.  They have two sons, Jeremiah and Jesse, and a grandson, Malachi, who has stolen his heart.

Sally Gary

Sally Gary is the founder and director of CenterPeace, a ministry dedicated to providing safe places for men and women who experience same-sex attraction.  CenterPeace partners with churches to host seminars and workshops for church leaders and families to better understand same-sex attraction and learn more effective ways to open conversations about homosexuality.

Sally holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications from Abilene Christian University and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University’s School of Law.  A former high school speech and debate coach, trial lawyer and communication professor at Abilene Christian University, Sally is a teacher at heart.

Sally currently resides in Dallas, Texas and travels worldwide conducting various events for CenterPeace.  Sally’s home church, the Highland Oaks Church of Christ, provides office space for CenterPeace and spiritual direction for Sally.

Cary Hadley

Cary Hadley is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is married to Lori and they have three sons: Andy, Aaron and Will. Cary holds a B.A. in Bible and Spanish from Lipscomb University. He is the Teaching Minister at the South 14th St Church of Christ in Leesburg, FL.  He is also the Spiritual Formation Director at Mt Dora Christian Academy.  He has served churches in Florida, Tennessee and Ohio.  

Lauren & Owen Mitchell

Owen and Lauren are associated with Family Dynamics Institute, a non-profit ministry located in Franklin, TN that provides training and materials for marriage enrichment.  Since 1998 they have helped hundreds of couples learn new skills and tools to transform their relationships.  They facilitate 8-week marriage classes on a local level, as well as lead weekend seminars across the country that equip couples to establish effective comprehensive marriage, family, and parenting ministry for their churches, emphasizing a team approach. Their experience has brought a firm belief that the combination of biblically and psychologically sound information, constructive and purposeful communication between spouses, and support through the changes they choose to make will give couples the foundation and skills to make their marriages what they want them to be instead of settling for less.

Lance Morgan

Lance is married to Amber.  They have three sons Landon, Brock and Hudson.  Lance has been in ministry his whole life.  From growing up as a missionary kid in Papua New Guinea to Miami, his sensitivity to the way cultural dynamics effect people’s worldview has been a great asset to Gods work.  After graduating from Harding he and his family have served in South Florida, Memphis TN, Mt Dora and Port Orange.  Lance resigned from full-time ministry position in 2004 and worked successfully for a brokerage firm before opening his own in Memphis TN.  Eventually he returned to ministry and became a Bible teacher and football coach at Harding Academy.  This led to serving as an Athletic Director and coach at Woodland Prep in Memphis for 3 years, before returning to ministering directly with a congregation.  These experiences have equipped Lance with an understanding of the needs of seekers and how to learn and speak to them in their language.  As he likes to say, “you can smell the street on him.”  For the past few years Lance has served as the pulpit minister and secretary for the Port Orange Church of Christ.

Paige Myers

Paige is currently a Director for Healogics, the largest wound care management company in the country.  Paige is noted speaker for both ladies’ and teen groups around the southeast.  She has been a popular presenter at women’s days and retreats and in larger venues like the Blue Ridge Encampment.  Her love for teens has found her presenting at events such as the Equip teen program, the SonQuest Youth Rally and as a keynote for Daughters of the King.  Paige is known for speaking from her heart about the practical aspects of taking the message of Jesus from the pages of scripture into everyday life

Paige is married to Randal.  They have two daughters, McKinsey and Bailey.


Joel Singleton

Joel is a Harding University graduate with a degree in Bible and Religion.  After college he and his wife Allison moved to St. Petersburg, FL where he has served in the past as the youth and family minister, the family minister and presently as the associate minister for the Northwest Church of Christ.  While Joel worked with the Church, Allison completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  Through their work with children, teens and families they realized the future of the church is in jeopardy.  The key to retaining the next generation of faith depends on families improving their spiritual environment in the home.  As a result, Joel started a non-profit in 2012 dedicated to providing families and churches with resources to pass down faith.  Joel authored two books called:  Imparting Faith Blueprint and E4 Families.

Eric Tooley

Eric is a grateful servant of Jesus Christ who struggles with pornography, over-eating, codependency, and a need for affirmation.  He is a speaker for non-profit ministries Elevate Youth, Just Say YES, and Ultimate Escape.  Over the last twenty-one years, over a million students, parents, teachers, and church members have heard Eric’s messages on healthy sexuality, pornography, social media, sexual abstinence, media discernment, bullying, and drugs & alcohol.  Eric is pastoral counselor and life coach for Power of Two Counseling.  He is the Celebrate Recovery ministry leader at Richardson East Church of Christ. Eric is a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and dog-owner.  He is 100% Texan who was born, raised, and still lives in Dallas.  He loves to Photograph lighthouses and is an avid Texas Ranger baseball fan.  But most of all, Eric is a grateful servant of Jesus Christ by the grace of God.

David Young

David grew up in the churches of Christ in Middle Tennessee, where he began preaching at the age of 16.  He currently serves as the senior minister for the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, TN.  He has worked for churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Tennessee, taught New Testament at several colleges and travelled widely teaching and preaching, leading mission trips and hosting tours to the Holy lands and to other religious sites.  David and his wife, Julie, have two redheaded children, a daughter Rachel, and a son Jonathan.  

David has published chapters in several books, has circulated numerous papers, and has published several books, including Alive in the Spirit: A Biblical Theology of the Holy Spirit and Extreme Discipleship: Following Jesus from the Gospel of Mark.  

He holds a B.A. from Freed-Hardeman University, M.A. from Harding University Graduate School of Religion and M.A. & Ph.D. in New Testament from Vanderbilt University.  

Rex Morgan

Rex has worked in the mission field both outside of the US and in southern Florida for over 34 years.  Since 1982, he and his wife Brenda have worked in Miami, Florida evangelizing the Latin community.  During these years Rex has produced television and radio programs called. “With the Bible Open.” Today, these programs are transmitted every week in 23 countries.  Rex is currently working as the Executive Producer of World Christian Broadcasting for Latin America. 

He is a father of 3 married children and a grandfather of seven.  He specializes in church planting, communicating through mass media, seminars, and public speaking events.  

Dr. James Moore

James attended Alabama Christian College, University of Southern Mississippi Graduates Studies, and Alabama Christian School of Religion.  He received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Faulkner University in 1995.

James is currently the President of Mt Dora Christian Academy and Children’s Home.  A member of the Board of the Christian Chronicle, President’s Council at Harding University, Board member of Central Florida Bible camp and past Director of Equip.  James is also director and board member of numerous other organizations.

Dr. Moore was married to his bride, Shirley, for more than 40 years. They have 2 children and one grandchild.

Suzetta Nutt

Suzetta is the Children’s minister at Highland Church of Christ in Abilene, TX, where she has served for more than 30 years.  Listening to children and joining them on their journey is one of her greatest joys.  She is married to Bob, and they have three children ages 4, 15 and 32.

Nancy Singleton

Nancy was born in San Antonio, Texas and her childhood was marked with uncertain relationships and circumstances.  Nancy never thought she would move out of Texas, or marry a preacher, however God had other plans for and has led her on many adventures in the name of Christ. She has and incredible story tell! Nancy is married to Terry Singleton the pulpit minister at the Mesa Church of Christ.  Terry and Nancy have been privileged to work with the body of Christ in Burlington, Colorado; Russell, Kansas; Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Titusville, Florida and Miami, Florida, before moving to Mesa, Arizona in January 2009. Nancy has two adult sons and three grandchildren.
